NRO Version 1.6 – New Features and Enhancements

NRO Version 1.6 was released on March, 18th, 2014, some of the new features and enhancements are:

  • A New Blog feature allows you to create and manage blog posts through the NRO Admin Panel
  • State lists can now be customized for each country, allowing US merchants to remove territories and APOs
  • Performance enhancements (faster page loads in the storefront) for store containing many configurable products or configurable products with many associated options
  • Gift messages are now visible in the NRO Admin Panel order view
  • Celebrity theme has been updated for better compatibility with the latest version of Internet Explorer
  • Improved formatting of storefront messages
  • Orphaned product images are now cleaned up automatically to conserve disk space usage
  • Updates to AvaTax integration is now supported 
  • Support for Counterpoint customer names in Business format
  • Grouped products are now sorted by price on the product detail page
  • A Timeout value option has been added for calls to Secure Pay
  • Products assigned to sub-categories are now also assigned to each parent categories so you can set the product position manually within each category
  • USPS Standard Post shipping method removed per recent changes made by USPS
  • Increased timeout values for better support or larger upload files
  • New Secure Pay option for handling unknown AVS information
  • URL keys for products with alternate units are now created dynamically based on whether there is more than one active unit
  • Admin Panel Dashboard widget for important messages from the NCR Hosted Apps Team
  • Price display for configurable product options now supports customer group pricing
  • Orders placed using PayPal are now marked as ‘shipped’ when order status updates are uploaded from Counterpoint
  • Improved support for 3rd-party extensions during uploads from Counterpoint
