NRO version  1.5 – New Features and Enhancements

NRO version 1.5 was released on 02/24/2014, and contains the following enhancements

  • Major overhaul of Integration Agent uploads, to drastically reduce the amount of time required for product uploads and better support merchants with large product catalogs
  • Improved image uploading
  • Support for shipping a single order to multiple destinations
  • Image gallery option for alternate images by color
  • Allow orders to be cancelled through the NRO Admin Panel
  • Improved support for PayPal advanced configurations that are particularly useful for Canadian merchants
  • Improved indexing to prevent deadlock errors and payment failures during checkout
  • Integration Agent improvements around Counterpoint item imports
  • Web service optimizations
  • Enhanced image uploading to prevent duplicate uploads when the same image is used for multiple items
  • Change the checkout link in the Celebrity theme cart summary widget to work with One Step Checkout
  • Improved URL rewrite engine
  • Performance improvements to the indexing process for URL Rewrites
  • Allow image name to have a different case from the Counterpoint item number
  • Support category image uploads through the new uploader
  • Set all indexes to manual mode during uploads
  • Enhance the Integration Agent to automatically rebuild indexes added by 3rd-party extensions
  • Improved web server memory handling during upload from Counterpoint
  • Descriptive alert added to notify user when an NRO order is cancelled then uploaded from Counterpoint. ‘Unable to process uploaded Order #__. Order is in a cancelled status.’
  • To avoid possible declined charges when an order is changed, the option to re-use the original pre-authorization from NCR Secure Pay when a changed order amount is less than the original order amount
