So we are now on daylight savings time and it’s the middle of March – which means MARCH MADNESS! Even if you are not a basketball fan and you don’t fill out your brackets you can be effect by this yearly phenomenon. Internet speeds tend to slow way down during this time – whether people are just checking scores or streaming a live basketball game. So keep that in mind if you’re getting frustrated trying to get to a site. But if you think it something other than that, please give us a call and we can help you do some sleuthing.
And if you are a business owner, keep in mind that millions of hours and dollars are lost to businesses during this time. You might want to set up some policies about Internet access or block sites all together. Or setup a pool in your office with the caveat that only one person can be on the Internet to look up scores. Anyone else who does it automatically forfeits their bracket and their MONEY.
If you want to keep customers coming back, setup a MARCH MADNESS game at your store or office. It doesn’t have to be brackets only – anything that gets customers involved is a good thing.
