Clear Messages Are Important


Did you find that difficult to read? It’s difficult to understand when it comes in as a recorded telephone message, too! Unfortunately, some support calls come in like this. The caller is speaking so rapidly that it’s difficult to decipher even when played back several times. Sometimes, important information is omitted like a telephone number where the caller can be reached!

When things are going wrong, many people get excited and talk rapidly. This is understandable. When your system is down, business is lost, and that means loss of income, too. It’s important to remember, however, that delays happen when messages are unclear or incomplete. 

So, before you call in for support, gather up the needed information, take a deep breath, and talk at a reasonable speed when you leave a message. It’s also a good idea to repeat the telephone number at the end of the message, just in case. This will save time and frustration on both ends!
